Immediate Load Dental Implants

Also called same day implants or Teeth in a Day®, immediate load dental implants allow placement of a temporary tooth during the same appointment as your dental implant placement. This may be a good option if you have enough natural bone and an implant secure enough to support immediate placement and pressure on the new temporary tooth.

Mini Dental Implants (MDIs)

Also called small or narrow diameter implants, these toothpick-sized implants are narrower than most commonly used dental implants. They are placed through less-invasive techniques and are used primarily to stabilize a lower denture.

Esthetic zone implants

While anterior implant cases are among the most difficult to restore, clinicians can achieve a predictable result by thoroughly evaluating patient anatomy and following a clear set of clinical guidelines (Figs. 9a, 9b). Utilizing the available diagnostic tools and restorative-driven treatment planning, implants can be placed in a manner that optimizes the final prosthetic outcome and meets the esthetic demands of our patients.

Ceramic dental implants

One of the most frequently cited advantages of ceramic implants relates to aesthetics. With a ‘grey’ titanium implant, a thin covering of soft tissue can cause the metal to shimmer through in a grey, dark colour. This can be avoided with the white ceramic material, which has great advantages, especially in the visible anterior region.

• Visit 2:  The surgery is performed and you will leave with an all on 4 denture
• Visit 3:  Two weeks later you return to check the healing and make any denture adjustments
• Visit 4:  Three months later we take impressions
• Visit 5:  We take measurements for the new teeth
• Visit 6:  We send you home with the all on 4 temporary
